Located on central campus next to the Dining Hall and a two-minute walk from the Stone House and A-frame Cabins, the Meetinghouse offers a simple and flexible multi-use space with convenient ground-level entrance access. This configurable meeting space can seat 150 people auditorium-style (with the rental of additional folding chairs) and is well-suited to performances and lectures, as well as memorial services and celebrations. The benches can also be moved to the sides of the room, creating a 47- by 23-foot open space ideal for yoga and meditation retreats. A PA system is available upon request for an additional cost.
The Meetinghouse is used by the Grass Valley Friends Meeting every Sunday morning for their Meeting for Worship. Groups wishing to rent the Meetinghouse over a weekend are asked to return the building to its original state by 8:30 a.m. on Sunday and can resume activity at 1 p.m..
